It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Colin Doorbar, one of the longest serving directors in the club’s history.

It is sadness that we report the passing of former Workington defender, Malcolm Dawes. He was 82.

Sad news emerged from Penrith Football Club on Monday when the Bonny Blues announced the passing of well-respected chairman, Brian (Billy) Williams. It follows a terminal illness over recent months. The Reds U18 squad has been dealt a testing draw in The FA Youth Cup with an away tie v. Whitby Town pulled out of the velvet bag.

After eighty-eight games and over 250 goals in the wonderful, but protracted FIFA World Cup, normal football returns to Frenchfield (2pm) on Saturday when Reds take on Penrith in our first pre-season game of the summer.
