Credit to the Wigan based Warriors for fulfilling the fixture on a Monday evening and doing so without several regulars.  They made a bright start and were technically very good throughout but, ultimately, were swept aside by a physically stronger Reds outfit.

Reds extended their winning run in the Lancashire League to nine matches and increased the lead at the top of the table to nine points.

Reds U23s maintained their winning start to the Lancashire League season, producing their best win of the campaign and completing a league double in the process. They recorded an eighth successive victory to increase their lead at the top to nine points.

With Borough Park currently waterlogged, this Lancashire League fixture was switched to Penrith’s Frenchfield.
