Workington’s pre-season campaign continues on Saturday when they travel to the south of the county for, arguably, their toughest game of the summer!

The Reds U18 squad has been dealt a testing draw in The FA Youth Cup with an away tie v. Whitby Town pulled out of the velvet bag.

Four players, who performed consistently well in a consistently good team, picked up the individual honours when the Reds’ Youth team celebrated last season’s achievements.

A first run-out for both teams and a useful ninety-minute workout for a decent Penrith squad and a makeshift Workington outfit.
