CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT | BRIAN DAWSON

Workington AFC can confirm that Brian Dawson is stepping down from his role as Head of Academy.

Brian has been instrumental in the development of the club’s academy since the role was first established, dedicating his time, knowledge and commitment to helping create opportunities for young players to develop and progress within the club.

His hard work behind the scenes has helped lay the foundations for our youth development pathway, and everyone at Workington AFC would like to place on record their sincere thanks for his contribution.

Moving forward, Workington AFC will assume full responsibility for overseeing and managing the club’s youth development pathways, ensuring we continue to build on those foundations and strengthen the opportunities available to young players across the club.

A successor to Brian will be announced in due course.

Thank you, Brian, for everything you have done for Workington AFC.
