CLUB STATEMENT

Following incidents at our recent away fixture against Bury FC, Workington AFC can confirm that an internal investigation is currently taking place.

​Working with the evidence currently available, individuals responsible for unacceptable behaviour have been identified. As a result, several interim domestic ground exclusions covering all home matches and club facilities have been issued with immediate effect. This will remain in place until all ongoing investigations are completed.

​Workington AFC operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, dangerous, or antisocial conduct. While we appreciate the passionate support of the vast majority of our fans, the safety and reputation of our club remain paramount.
