As our Grassroots and Community Matchday experience continues to grow we are looking to recruit a volunteer co-ordinator.

Family, friends and notable members of the football fraternity turned out in force to say a fond farewell to the former Workington manager.

Two goals ahead, with less than three minutes on the clock, should have been the foundation for a comfortable victory for the young Reds.  However, it was anything but as the Manchester side staged a brave recovery and probably deserved some reward from a closely fought encounter.

Reds U23s maintained their winning start to the Lancashire League season, producing their best win of the campaign and completing a league double in the process. They recorded an eighth successive victory to increase their lead at the top to nine points.
