Two crucial league games remaining in our thirty-ninth campaign of Northern Premier football and, as things stand, there is still work to do.

PRESENTATION EVENING
This year's presentation evening will take place in the Tony Hopper Bar after the final game on the 25th of April. Doors open at 7:00 PM with free entry. If you would like to eat, £10 meal tickets will be available to purchase at the bar for hot food provided by The Log Cabin. The awards presentation will follow at approximately 7:45 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!

MATCH REPORT: Ashton United 2-1 Workington AFC
Here we are in mid-April with matters still to be resolved at both ends of the NPL Premier Division table. And in this part of the world, that means Workington is still embroiled in the battle to avoid relegation and a return to Step 4 football. Another below par performance, and defeat by the odd goal in three, will increase the tension amongst supporters for another week at least as three more points slipped away. This particular fixture has never produced a goalless draw
