Reds extended their winning run to four matches in the Lancashire League after a bizarre game against the Leyland based outfit.

It was another early start for the young Reds but, undeterred, they put in a tremendous performance in the mid-morning kick-off and toppled the league leaders in Cheshire……for the second successive season.

Workington emerged narrow but deserved winners in what was their first visit to the Bracken Moor Stadium for twenty-one years.

It is twenty-one years since we last crossed swords with Stocksbridge Park Steels so it will be good to reacquaint with the Steels.
