Away start for Reds

Reds will kick-off their fortieth season of Northern Premier League football with a trip to Gainsborough Trinity on 8 August. The last time they opened the season at Northolme was back in 1984 when Trinity emerged 3-2 winners.
Following their eight-hour round trip to Lincolnshire, Reds will have two home games, hosting promoted Redcar Athletic on Tuesday 11 August and Guiseley, four days later, at The Fibrus Community Stadium.
The first mid-week away journey will be played on a Wednesday evening with Reds travelling to the Oldham area for a first-ever encounter versus Avro.
They will go to Lancaster City on the August Bank Holiday Monday, just like last year, with the return against City at home on 2nd January.
They will make the relatively short trip to Stockton Town on Boxing Day.
In contrast, the longest trip of the season to Quorn, in faraway Leicestershire, will be in early October with the eagerly awaited trip to Gigg Lane three weeks later. The home clash against Bury will be the final one at the Fibrus, 10th April.
Easter weekend will involve a Saturday journey to Warrington Rylands with Stockton Town visiting west Cumbria forty-eight hours later.
The regular season will conclude at Ashton United on 17 April.
Reds will enter the FA Cup at The First Qualifying Round stage on 5th September with the Trophy campaign launched three weeks later.
