A fantastic last day of the season culminated in the Presentation Evening at Borough Park with Jordan Little and Ceiran Casson claiming the main awards.
Jordan, in his fifth season at Borough Park, didn’t featured in the opening four games this term but has been a stalwart of the defence ever since. He was unanimously voted Supporters’ Player of the Year and also collected an award from the Reds Independent Supporters Club.

Ceiran Casson collected the Players’ Player of the Year Award after a very consistent season which started in the midfield anchor role and ended as an emergency right fullback. He has captained the side in recent weeks too.

Luke Ellis was voted Young Player of the Year in his first season with the club and the only ‘opponent’ that got the better of him was the perimeter wall at Hyde United last month. He missed a few matches because of that injury but featured in more games, overall, than any other player.

The Goal of the season award was collected by Josh Galloway for his stunning, match-winning strike in the away game at Hyde United. Apart from the quality of the goal, it proved very important too and polled 66% of the votes from the short-list of seven.

It would have been rude not to acknowledge Billy Barr’s contribution since his arrival and he was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award. As modest as ever, the manager passed on the plaudits to his staff – Lee Andrews, Billy Redden, Caitlin Gribbon, Andrea Windle and the players.

Alex Mitchell, sponsored by the RISC group, was also recognised by the supporters’ body.
