Jeff laid to rest

Family, friends and a sprinkling of Workington Reds representatives turned out to say a fond farewell to former groundsman, Jeff Curwen, who passed away a fortnight ago.
The funeral took place on Friday at Distington Hall Crematorium.
Warm tributes from Jeff’s grandson, Tom, and son, Paul, preceded the committal in a simple but touching service, led by Andrew Richardson.
A tribute to Jeff will take place prior to kick-off on Saturday when Reds host Rushall Olympic at Borough Park.
