CLUB NEWS: From the Boardroom

It has been a busy few weeks in the boardroom with efforts focussed on finding a new manager following the departure of Edmo. Following a rigorous recruitment process we were pleased to announce we have agreed terms with Billy Barr who became First Team Manager earlier in the week.
Billy, a former Reds player, comes with a wealth of coaching experience and contacts at a high level in the game and we wish him and his Assistant, former Reds favourite Lee Andrews and the remaining backroom staff all the best as we strive to climb the table over the next few months.
Once again, I would like to thank Brian Dawson and Billy Redden for stepping up as we worked through the process.
Encouragingly, those who made the long journey to South Yorkshire on Saturday were rewarded with the best display of the season so far. A thoroughly deserved and very welcome 3 points. The travelling support on the day, particularly from the RISC group undoubtedly helped the lads over the line.
I hope we can all get behind the “new team” and the boys tomorrow to build on Saturday’s great performance and we can start to climb that table.
