A spectacular Ryan Handford goal in the dying seconds maintained the young Reds winning sequence but they were stretched all the way by a good Witton Albion outfit.
Albion had taken a fifth minute lead when Joe Eglin dribbled past two defenders and placed the ball into the bottom corner. They didn’t carve out many other opportunities in the first half but their general play was efficient and effective.

Reds responded with a good half hour spell but they lacked composure in the final third and several half chances were squandered.
It looked for a while as though Albion’s early goal would decide the contest but Reds staged a late rally and came from behind to win – just like they did in Cheshire earlier this season.
Liam White grabbed the all-important equaliser in the seventy-fifth minute – a firmly struck shot through a crowded area – prompting an exciting finale.

And after a few near misses, Handford’s superb late goal secured the points in dramatic circumstances.
Next up for unbeaten Reds is a trip to Macclesfield.

Team: Joe Rumney, Liam Gaskell, Charlie White, Matthew Jackson, Harrison Telford, TJ Cueto, Joe Carney, Ted Thomson, Oscar Pickering, Ryan Handford, Harrison Rogers. Substitutes – Liam White, Jayden Fulton (both used).
