MATCH PREVIEW: Just another game

With just a week before the registration deadline, manager Billy Barr has been busy trying to add to the squad for those so important last seven games of the season.
He was optimistic of having an experienced centre forward on board for Saturday’s game at Hyde United when it will be 18th v 20th as the battle to avoid the drop intensifies.

Hyde lost their mid-week game at Gainsborough Trinity so, like Reds, have now completed thirty-three games with both clubs on 33 points.
Billy Barr’s first game in the Borough Park hot seat was against Hyde United back in November and, despite the slow, steady improvement, the team remained bottom of the table for seventeen weeks.
And having climbed off the bottom rung of the ladder following last week’s victory over Stocksbridge, the good work cannot be undone at the Project Solar Stadium.
They come up against a talented Hyde outfit who have lost their way in recent weeks but the vastly experienced Michael Clegg will be doing his utmost to stop the slide. And ex. Reds, Joe Bunney has been added to the coaching staff but is also registered as a player.

Reds have won several times at Ewen Fields in the past but the most recent victory there was during the Conference North days so another tough afternoon is anticipated.
