ANNOUNCEMENT - First Team Manager

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Billy Barr as First Team Manager.

Billy, a former Reds player of course, joins us following recent spells at Dundee as Assistant Manager and latterly Carlisle Utd as First Team Coach. During a lengthy and highly respected coaching career he has also held similar positions at Salford City, Wrexham, Sheffield Wednesday, Preston North End and Blackburn Rovers.

Billy will take charge immediately and will meet the players this evening where he will oversee training. He joins us on an initial contract until the end of the 26/27 season.

Returning to the club as number 2 is former favourite Lee Andrews who played over 200 games for the club as well as having a period as Joint Manager and Manager.

Completing the backroom team will be existing Goalkeeper Coach Billy Redden, Physio Caitlin Gribbon, Analyst Craig Routledge and Kit Manager Andrea Windle.

We'd like to welcome Billy and Lee back to Borough Park and look forward to working with them as we look to turn the season around.

Delighted to be joining the club along with Lee Andrews. Obviously, Lee spent a long time there as a player and a coach and I had a brief stint as a player back in the day.

Looking forward to getting to work with the boys tonight and building on what was a fantastic result on Saturday and now can we put a little run together and bring the feel-good factor back to the football club and the area.

Nobody wants to be in the position we are in but unfortunately circumstances have dictated that throughout the season so far.

Nobody to blame, it's just a culmination of things, we are working now to take us away from that bottom three and we have faith in what we do and belief in the lads once we get that next win things will turn round and we will move away from that zone and bring the feel-good factor back to the football club.
