Workington AFC scouting opportunity

Workington AFC are looking to work with a host of volunteer scouts to cover match reporting and opposition analysis across the North of the England for the 2024/25 season.                                         

Job Description (Key responsibilities)

• Be available to watch games in one or more of the following areas
  • Cumbria
  • Lancashire
  • North East
  • Manchester
  • Cheshire
  • Yorkshire
  • Midlands
• Produce reports
• To view footage of the team / player being watched to supplement the quality of the live report, and to check consistency regarding styles of play etc.
• To report using the club templates provided
• To recommend players to the 1st Team and U18 management where appropriate
• To represent the club in a professional manner at all times
• To maintain a working knowledge of all current Workington AFC players
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be effective at dealing with and maintaining confidential club information
