Sporting Village stadium project
Sports fans are being invited to a forum to update fans on the latest progress towards the new community stadium.
The forum will take place at the Carnegie Theatre on Thursday April 21st starting at 6:30pm with bar facilities open from 5:30pm.
A spokesman said, “There will be a concise summary of where the project is currently and anticipated future plans.”
Representatives of Workington Reds and Workington Town will be supported by project advisors.
“I’m sure this will not only update fans, as promised at the respective clubs AGM’s, but outline challenges still faced and how we will be addressing them as there is still much work to do.”
