Reds retained

Workington AFC can today update supporters on the status of the playing squad in preparation for the 2024/25 season.

The club places on record its thanks to departing players for their efforts during their time with the Reds, and wishes them well for the future.

Option Years Activated for 24/25

No player contract options have been exercised.

Offered New Contract/deal or in Negotiations for 24/25:

Jim Atkinson, Ceiran Casson, David Symington, Danny Eccles, Brad Hubbold, Jordan Little, Greg McCaragher, Steven Rigg and Finlay Wallbank. 

Released/Not Returning for 24/25:

Bobby Carroll, Lewis Reilly and Aidy Roxburgh.

Retired:

Scott Allison, Sam Smith, Jamie Devitt and Conor Tinnion. 

Loan Players Returning to their Parent Club:

Kitt Nelson, Sam Hetherington and Jake Allan. 

Further squad updates and signings will be released throughout the summer. 

Following the confirmation of the retained list, new Reds boss Mark Fell commented:

We would like to thank all departing players for their fantastic contributions and efforts during their time at Workington AFC.
