Workington AFC Annual Christmas Collection

Following on from last years’ successful Christmas food collection, the Workington AFC Foundation will launch its latest scheme prior to the weekend game with Prescot Cables.

Working with local partner organisations we have identified an area of need which we will concentrate on for the next 4 weeks.

We will be collecting TOILETRIES this year, not high end stuff, but basic items such as soaps, shower gels, toothbrushes etc. There is evidence to show that these items are in demand from vulnerable families within our local community and we hope the club and its fans can make a valuable contribution.

There will be collection points placed just inside the turnstiles for the Prescot game this Saturday, the Bootle match on December 7th and finally the Kidsgrove game on December 18th.

Alternatively. items can be left at the club office during normal weekday opening hours (10am-1pm).

All donations are welcome, just place them in the collection points and we will do the rest, any queries please contact Richard Lewthwaite or Simon Collins.
