Reds’ recently formed Development Squad will venture into the unknown when they eventually kick-off their inaugural season in the Cumberland County League, but the hope is they will make an impression on the pitch.

But they will certainly look the part at training and on match days after being handed their new outfits and training kit.

The players were presented with their new gear (SK Kits) after Saturday’s training session with the clothing identical to that worn by the first team squad.

Credit to the Board for helping finance this project.

Meanwhile, their training programme included a re-introduction to the physical side of the game when they took part in an 11 v. 11 ‘in-house’ ninety minute match – Blues v. Yellows.

The group has trained well for the past month with turn-out consistently good. They have a number of pre-season games scheduled, the first of which is next Saturday.
