Two more tough opponents to overcome
Reds have to overcome the challenge of Clitheroe and the weather on Saturday as they start a sequence of four successive matches at Borough Park.
Despite the various changes going on behind the scenes, it has been business as usual for Danny Grainger and the squad as they prepare for the visit of 9th placed Clitheroe.
The lads have trained well this week and, after Tuesday’s yoga session, they were back on 3G on Thursday. Charlie Bowman and Luke Ivison worked on their own as they continue their rehab from injury but over twenty players were involved in the main session.
It will be another selection headache for the gaffer with plenty of options to consider.
Clitheroe, who visit West Cumbria in search of a league double, have fallen behind in the promotion race recently but outplayed Reds in the first meeting at Shawbridge back in September, emerging deserved 2-0 winners.
One of the scorers that night was Cole Lonsdale but he, and Brad Carroll, will be facing their former club at Borough Park.
The pitch was in good condition before the arrival of Storm Jorge.
Kick-off 3pm.
