It’s the final midweek league game for the time being on Tuesday with Reds making the relatively short trip to Clitheroe (7.45pm).

They make the 121 mile journey with a near full squad with Ash Kelly the only doubt as he returns from injury.

It has been a busy start to the season with Reds set to play their twelfth game in less than six weeks.  Nine of those games have been in the league and have yielded 20 points to date and, to underline the impressive form to date, it took twenty-four games to reach that total last term.

Clitheroe are currently placed in mid-table with nine points having won twice, drawn three and lost four games to date.  They suffered a 3-0 reverse at City of Liverpool on Saturday but the more worrying statistic is they have yet to win at home.
