Trophy update

A midweek FA enquiry should determine Workington’s path in the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Saturday’s First Round Qualifying tie at Brighouse Town was cancelled at the eleventh hour, leaving Reds with a second successive blank weekend.

But their opponents will be determined on Wednesday with the match likely to be played in Yorkshire week commencing Monday 4th November.

The eventual winners of the protracted First Qualifying Round tie will then face an away tie at either Leek Town or Chasetown with the Second Qualifying Round due to be played on Saturday 9 November.

Meanwhile, Reds are hoping to play their home league game v. Tadcaster Albion at Borough Park on Saturday.
