Trophy tie put back to Tuesday

Football throughout the land takes a break on Saturday as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Reds were due to play league rivals, Runcorn Linnets, in the FA Trophy but the First Qualifying Round tie will now be played on Tuesday at Borough Park (7.45pm).

That, in turn, means the scheduled league fixture v. Skelmersdale United has been postponed and will be rescheduled for later in the season.
