The story behind the picture – Nineties Board

A superb early nineties photograph of the Board of Directors, ten strong in those days and all dedicated to the cause.

Joan Crellen had become the first female director of the club, having previously been long serving secretary of the Workington Reds Supporters’ Association.

Jackie Donald was the chairman and he too had served his ‘apprenticeship’ with the Supporters’ Association.
