Manager Danny Grainger has decided not to extend Joe Bunney’s loan into a third month and the versatile player has returned to parent club, Stalybridge Celtic.
Reds’ boss, Grainger, expressed his gratitude to the experienced defender for his commitment to the cause over the last couple of months and thanked him for the professionalism he brought to the squad.
Joe made his debut in November’s narrow defeat at Guiseley and made nine league appearances in total. He scored two goals during his loan spell, both equalisers, helping the team obtain a point at Whitby Town and Marine.
We wish Joe the best of luck for the next stage of his career.
