Talented teenagers strut their stuff
Some of the county’s best fifteen year old footballers were on show at Borough Park, serving up an entertaining contest for coaches and parents alike.
RITC hosted their Morton Manor counterparts and an end-to-end contest finished all square in a 2-2 draw.
Reds were ahead from the tenth minute when Cameron Cosby scored a fine individual goal after racing clear down the right flank.
They had opportunities to add to their lead but squandered several chances and the Carlisle outfit equalised just before the break thanks to a well taken Finn Graham goal.
Morton got on top for a while then it was Reds who dominated with both sides going in search of a winner.
And it looked as though the home side had grabbed a late decider when Shane Tyson converted a low cross after some excellent approach play.
But Morton got the draw they just about deserved when Ben Ellis was quickest to react to a free kick only partially cleared to level matter for a second time.
