Summer footie

The inaugural Cumberland FA FleXI League kicks off on Thursday and Reds Reserves are taking part, along with seven other teams in the West Division.

Cockermouth will be Reds’ first opponents with the match being staged at Whitehaven AFC (3G) with an 8.15pm kick-off.

Lowca, Moor Row, Whitehaven, Windscale, Workington Reds Juniors Athletic and Workington Reds Juniors (Black) have also entered teams in the competition.

Brian Dawson and Craig Johnston will be in charge of the Reds squad.
