SIGNING: Riggy is a Red again

We are delighted to announce the signing of Steven Rigg.

Rigg, 28, is a Keswick native but has just left Dover Athletic following a Cumbrian career which has featured Carlisle United and Barrow.

Supporters will recall ‘Riggy’ netting four goals in 12 appearances for our first team in 2017-18, scoring a late winner at league leaders Altrincham on his debut.

The forward featured in Reds’ 1-0 friendly win over Penrith at Frenchfield Park on Saturday and has trained with us for a number of weeks.

Caretaker manager Steven Rudd said: “It’s great to have Riggy back at the club.

“He’s a local lad, a very good player and great character to have in the dressing room.

“We’re delighted he’s joining us.”
