We are delighted to announce the signing of forward Louis Potts, who has recently left Preston North End’s academy.
Potts, 18, can play in a variety of positions across the front line and was a prominent member of Preston’s youth setup last season.
The Salford-raised teenager had been with the Lilywhites from U14 level and proved to be a goalscorer at every stage since.

The North End product is a pacey, hard-working striker and is eager to get going, saying: “I’m really excited to get started and can’t wait to see what happens this season with a new club.”
His new manager Danny Grainger also said: “After our first conversation with him, his attitude to want to develop and be succesful was great to hear.
“I think he can come and be a success with us.”
In case you missed it, Potts’ soon-to-be strike partner Scott Allison committed his future earlier today.
Welcome, Louis!
