SIGNING: Malumo arrives to add forward depth

Workington AFC are delighted to announce the signing of forward Mwiya Malumo.

Zambian-born Malumo, 20, has been with Irlum Town this season, making 19 appearances for the North West Counties Premier Division outfit.

Following a youth career with Oldham Athletic and Wigan Athletic, for which he made his first-team debut in the EFL Trophy against Middlesbrough in 2017, he had a spell in Sweden with Gottne IF last year from March.

Malumo has impressed while training with Reds and is amongst the substitutes for tonight’s league match at Droylsden.
