SIGNING: Jordan Holt rejoins Reds

We are delighted to announce the signing and return of Jordan Holt, subject to international clearance.

Holt, 20, has been with us twice before, once on loan from Carlisle United and then permanently for the 2018-19 season.

He comes back to Borough Park following a fruitful spell on trial this summer after leaving Annan Athletic.

Speaking post-match today, the midfielder said he was ‘buzzing’ to be back before discussing his return.

“It’s never nice being labelled a trialist,” he admitted after he played 30 minutes in our 4-3 win over Lancaster City.

“I’ve had to prove myself again but now I’ve signed, it’s been worth it.”

Holt is a popular member of the squad and is keen to be back among the group, knowing he has a challenge to get into the starting XI.

“I always said when I left, you’d struggle to find a better group of lads.”

He continued, saying: “I just want to cement my place in the team.

“Competition for places is high but I’ve just got to prove myself and once I get that chance, I need to stay in the team and keep working hard.”
