Family, friends and Workington Reds officials and supporters said a fond farewell to Joan Crellen at her funeral service on Thursday.
The club stalwart passed away earlier this month and a celebration of her life was held at Distington Hall Crematorium.
Club chairman, Phil Norman, four of his predecessors, former directors, players and supporters joined family members in the congregation and heard daughter Joanne deliver a moving tribute to life-long Reds fan, Joan, who died on 2nd January.
Joan’s favourite poem was also read out by a close friend.
The service was conducted by Reverend M Cowan.
Supporters lined the pavement when the funeral cortege drove past Borough Park en route to Distington.
