Return ticket for Cole

Utility player Cole Lonsdale has returned to former club, Clitheroe, and will sign for the Shawbridge outfit ahead of the new season. 

Cole joined Reds last January and made his debut, via the bench, in the driving rain at Colne.  He featured in another dozen games before the campaign was prematurely ended, eventually making five starts and a further eight appearances as a substitute. 

He linked up with the Reds squad after falling out of favour at Clitheroe but was happy to return after an approach by the new manager at Shawbridge – the former Reds player, David Lynch. 

We thank Cole for his commitment to the cause during his brief time with us and wish him the best of fortune at the next stage of his career.
