Reds wear blue, Barrow play in red
The Academy sides of Barrow and Workington served up an entertaining game at Penrith RUFC with Reds, playing in blue, emerging 6-3 winners.

Unusually, both teams opted to play in their change strip for this hastily arranged friendly.
Steven Rudd was in charge of the Reds U18s and a positive start saw them open the scoring thanks to a well taken Reegan Stephenson goal.
But Barrow started to dominate and two Kane Fleming strikes and a Joe Amison effort saw them establish a deserved 3-1 advantage.
Jack Rossi’s goal just before half time proved to be the turning point with Reds back in contention.
They got on top in the second half and further goals from Tom Houghton, Jack Patrick, Owen Thompson and a second from Stephenson saw them finish the stronger.
Credit to both sides for playing good football in testing conditions – a gale force wind and driving rain.
