Reds to visit Ashington

Another date for the diary with Reds confirming a friendly with Northern Premier League newcomers, Ashington, at the end of July.

Danny Grainger’s squad will travel to the north east on Saturday 29 July (3pm) for a first ever visit to Ashington’s Woodhorn Lane ground.

Ashington finished runners-up in the Northern League last season – five points behind champions, Newton Aycliffe, but gained promotion after their inter-step play-off win at Glossop North End. More pre-season matches will be announced as and when arrangements have been ratified.
