Reds ‘On Air’
Workington’s memorable FA Trophy 3rd Round tie at AFC Wimbledon on 30 January, 2010 will be broadcast in full on BBC Radio Cumbria’s Sport programme this coming Saturday from 2pm.
It follows last week’s successful live streaming of the 1958 Manchester United FA Cup tie and will provide another thoroughly entertaining afternoon for Reds supporters.
John Walsh, again, will be providing commentary on an unforgettable afternoon with former Carlisle United and Reds defender, John Holliday, sitting alongside Walshie as summariser.
The BBC Sport team has replayed several football and rugby league matches throughout Lockdown with Workington taking centre stage this week.
The matches have usually been broadcast between 1500 and 1700 but the programme gets underway at the normal time of 1400.
