PRE-SEASON: Grainger’s men to make Gainsborough trip

We are delighted to announce another first-team friendly fixture, a trip to Gainsborough Trinity.

Danny Grainger’s men will face off against Curtis Woodhouse’s Premier Division side on Saturday, August 22 at The Northolme, Lincolnshire.

The game, which is set to be a tough test for Reds behind closed doors, makes it six scheduled matches throughout this month and next.

Reds first-team will play:

• Carlisle City [A] – Tuesday, August 4
• Penrith AFC [A] – Saturday, August 8
• Carlisle United [H] – Saturday, August 15
• Whitehaven [A] – Tuesday, August 18 (Shaun Hocking Memorial)
• Gainsborough Trinity [A] Saturday, August 22
• Lancaster City [H] – Saturday, September 5
