Positive vibes from Q & A evening

About sixty supporters turned up for a Q & A session in the Tony Hopper Bar and were given some breaking news by manager Danny Grainger.

Confirmation that Danny and his coaching team, Steven Rudd and Gari Rowntree, had extended their contracts until the end of next season was greeted by an appreciative round of applause.

There was further good news when the manager announced that talented teenage duo, Ceiran Casson and Liam Brockbank, had been contracted as a reward for their excellent start to life in senior football.

Compère Ross Peacock informed supporters that work was ongoing to attract new members to the Board as the club restructures its operating model.

Les Byers delivered an insight into the Ground Safety Certificate matter with the club having to appeal the County Council decision in order to keep the ground open. It wasn’t an action favoured by the club but was the only option available to ensure football continued at Borough Park until the matter is resolved.

Community director Ross then delivered pre-arranged questions to the management trio who answered with repeated enthusiasm. Questions from the floor followed with supporters upbeat with management’s response.

An enjoyable and positive ninety minutes concluded with the manager holding conversation with many of the supporters.
