PLAYER UPDATE: Scott Allison remains a red

We are today delighted to announce that long serving player Scott Allison is staying at Workington Reds next season.

Allison added, “Yea that’s fine pal. Staying at Workington is a no brainier for me. The club stuck by me last season through all the injuries and I feel I owe them for that. This club has been great to me and I feel that leaving it before gaining promotion out of this league just isn’t an option.”

Danny Grainger commented, “I’m delighted to have Scotty here for another season he is a big player for us and after a disappointing season last year with injuries. I’m sure he will be hungrier than ever to start as many games as possible and do what he does best and score plenty goals.”
