PLAYER UPDATE: Reuben remains a Red

We are delighted that we can announce that Reuben Jerome is staying with Workington Reds for another season.

Reuben commented, “I’m buzzing to be coming back up this year. It gives me a chance to put last years’ disappointment right and to help the club get back to where it should be. UTR!”

Danny Grainger commented, “This is fantastic news for the club and the team, Reuben is a great guy to have in the squad off the pitch and a massive player for us on the pitch.

He has shown great commitment to the club after turning down a few offers closer to home which would have been easier for him and shows what the club, players and fans mean to him.

I’m looking forward to having a full season with him and seeing him scoring plenty of goals as we go after our aims.”
