PLAYER SIGNING: Hooper becomes a Red

We are delighted that we can announce that our next signing of former Carlisle Utd, Salford and Chorley attacking midfielder James Hooper.

James commented, “Obviously knowing the gaffa and how he wants to play is a massive pull for me, which is rare in non league. I know he has very high standards and the way the players buy into it and the quality in the squad. I can’t wait to get into the flow of it after just one session and match. I can see their is real quality in the squad and competition in every position which you need if you want to be successful. I’m excited to be part of the squad and the club and want to help in our target of trying to get promoted.”

Danny Grainger commented, “Hoops is a great addition to the club. I know his quality on the ball after sharing a dressing room with him and I’m sure he will bring that quality to the club as well. I know what type of player he is an also what type of person he is. He is a winner that will demand high standards from not only himself but everyone around him. Once we get him up to the fitness levels we expect, I’m confident he will have a big impact on us this season.”
