Penrith next stop
Reds will go through another ninety minutes work-out on Saturday when they visit Frenchfield and take on Northern League neighbours, Penrith.
It will be Reds’ sixth visit to the out-of-town stadium for a pre-season game and, to date, the ‘honours’ are even with Penrith and Reds both recording two victories and the other match drawn.
Our first ever game at Frenchfield, ten years ago, resulted in a 3-2 defeat but last year we won 2-1after a Dav Symington double turned the game after Martyn Coleman’s opener.
Thetwo sides have met in each of the last eight summers and the head-to-head over the last decade reads:
Borough Park – W D L W
Frenchfield – W L D W L
THE GAME IS BEING PLAYED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.
