Painters and decorators

There is at least one player employed as painter and decorator in the current first team squad but two more could join the trade if their efforts at Borough Park this week are anything to go by.

Manager, Danny Grainger, and assistant, Steven Rudd, have joined the band of volunteers offering their services to restore some pride in a stadium in need of some tender loving care.

With paint brushes and rollers at the ready, the deadly duo gave the home dressing room a lick of paint in readiness for the new season.

The general view was that there appeared to be more paint on their clothing than the walls but a superb effort nevertheless!
