Reds conclude their home programme on Monday afternoon with Lancaster City the final visitors to Borough Park.

It is the penultimate game of a disastrous season and, after the trip to Scarborough Athletic on Saturday, we can finally consign the 2018-19 campaign to the archives and quickly forget about it.

It will also be Lee Andrews’ final day at Borough Park after twelve seasons distinguished service to the club and it would be fitting if the team can serve up a performance to match the occasion. The manager has penned his farewell message in the match day programme.

Reds emerged 2-0 winners when the two sides met at the Giant Axe on Boxing Day with Jason Walker and Scott Allison amongst the goals. City have done quite well since then and are currently 14th in Evo-Stik Premier and, to date, have won five league games on the road.

Both Reds and City have found scoring a problem this season with South Shields (82) and Farsley Celtic (78) netting more than Workington and Lancaster’s combined tally (75).

Admission charges have been slightly reduced:

Concession – £5
Youth (12-17) – £3
U12 – £1

The team will wear a retro-style strip (pictured) and replicas will be available on the day.
