NEW SIGNING: Latics youngster drafted in
Danny Grainger has boosted his attacking options by taking Oldham Athletic first year professional, Kofi Moore, on loan.
The eighteen-year-old, who recently signed his first professional contract, is blessed with pace and skill and likes to take on his opponent in a 1 v. 1 situation.
He played in Oldham’s friendly at Hyde over the weekend and joins on a youth loan arrangement.
The young Irishman arrived at Boundary Park as a fifteen-year-old, progressing through the academy and into the Youth team before training with the National League outfit’s first team.
Reds boss Grainger is keen to add offensive players to the squad and Kofi comes highly recommended by Oldham Youth team manager, Paul Murray.
He is expected to feature in Saturday’s Cumbrian derby against Carlisle United subject to the paperwork being completed.
