NEW SIGNING: Amantchi returns

Attacker Levi Amantchi has returned to Borough to bolster the Reds injury depleted squad.

The 20 year old has signed from Blyth Spartans, Amantchi played briefly for the Reds in last season and again played in this season’s friendly against Morecambe.

Amantchi made 11 National League appearances in the 2018/19 season and made his debut for the Spireites at 17. During that campaign, where he also featured three times in the FA Cup, he had a productive spell at Mickleover Sports.

The product of popular youth club Wallsend Boys scored twice in 16 appearances and gained cult hero status for his vital goal against local rivals Gateshead.

Levi is available for Saturday’s encounter against Leek Town at Borough Park.
