New format for Reserves
Reds Reserves will face a new format in their 17th consecutive season of Lancashire League football.

After competing in a one division set-up last term, the League has reverted to an East and West split for 2019-20 with the former having five clubs and the latter section hosting six.
Reds will join Lancaster City, RIASA Fusion, RIASA Royals and newcomers Barrow and Kendal Town in the West Division playing each other on a home and away basis.

The ten league games will be supplemented by at least ten more games in a league cup competition with Reds playing (five at home, five away) against Barrow, Bradford RIASA, Chorley, Garforth Town, Hyde, Kendal, Lancaster City, RIASA Leeds, RIASA Fusion and RIASA Royals.
The re-introduced cup competition will run on a league basis with the top four forming the semi-finalists.
The season is due to start week commencing 12 August but Reds will continue their involvement in the Cumberland FA FleXI league throughout the summer and have also arranged some friendlies.
Brian Dawson and Craig Johnston will be in charge of team affairs.
