Recap
Following a draw at Windscale and playing a prominent part in the win at Whitehaven, the Development Squad was back on home soil to earn a deserved victory over Maryport Athletic.
They eased to a 3-0 success after establishing an early two goal lead.

Jack Burns opened the scoring via a sublime free-kick and the young Reds doubled the advantage inside ten minutes with a well taken Ciaran Booty goal.
Athletic eventually settled into the game and were on top for a spell although were unable to find a way through a watertight defence.
Booty netted his second, Reds’ third, to complete a good afternoon’s work.
The young Reds will be back in action on Wednesday when travel to play Holker Old Boys at Rakesmoor Lane (7.45pm).
