Recap
Both teams had to battle against another afternoon of hostile conditions – driving rain and a strong wind – as they completed their County League fixture at St. Benedict’s School.
And it was Reds who collected all three points after recording a third consecutive win.

Reds had the elements in their favour in the first half but, as so often happens, the wind was too strong to provide an advantage and the first forty five minutes was goalless.
Tom Houghton came closest to breaking the deadlock when he rattled the crossbar with a freekick.
Northbank got their noses in front when Brendon Box-Gill forced the ball home from close range with Reds guilty of some sloppy defending.
The hosts responded immediately and, following a Dan Whitehead free kick on the left, Tom Skinner forced home the equaliser.

Louis Webster’s well taken goal, created by the impressive Houghton, put Reds ahead for the first time and the points were guaranteed when the latter scored the goal of the game with a fine finish.
The victory lifted Reds to fourth position in the Premier Division.
